- Don't start the engine. Don't even turn the key to crank it. If the engine doesn't run, the wrong fuel sits in the tank and the drain is straightforward.
- Tell the forecourt staff if you're on a pump. Most petrol stations have seen it before and they'll help you push the car to a safe spot.

How A Mobile Fuel Drain Works
It's less dramatic than people expect. Four steps, on the spot, no garage trip:
- Drain. We pop the tank, hook up the suction kit, and pull every drop of contaminated fuel out into a sealed bowser.
- Flush. We run a small amount of clean fuel through the lines and the filter housing to clear out the residue.
- Refuel. A few litres of the right fuel go back in — enough to get you to a forecourt and fill up properly.
- Restart & check. Engine fires up, we listen for misfires, watch for warning lights, and you drive away.

Do you move cars from A to B?
No — we only recover vehicles that have broken down, been in an accident, or won't start. If your car is running and roadworthy and you just need it moved from one place to another, that's vehicle transport, not breakdown recovery, and it's not something we offer. A dedicated car transport or delivery company will be able to help instead.
Are you a vehicle transport company?
No. We're a local breakdown recovery team, based in Wigan. We recover broken-down, accident-damaged or non-runner vehicles to a garage or home address. We don't run a transport, logistics or vehicle delivery service, and we don't take on bulk or scheduled vehicle moves.
Do you quote by mileage?
