Send your location to Breakdown Man

A text message gets through even when there's no internet.

While you wait — stay safe

• Switch on your hazard lights so other drivers can see you.
• If it's safe, get everyone out on the side away from traffic.
• On a motorway or fast road, stand behind the barrier — never in the vehicle.
• Put on a hi-vis vest if you have one, especially in the dark.
• Keep your phone on this page — your location updates automatically.

What to tell us

• Your car's registration, make and colour.
• What's happened — won't start, flat tyre, accident, out of fuel.
• Whether you're safe, and if anyone is hurt.
• Roughly where you are — a junction, road name or nearby landmark.
